AIU supports students through counseling, accessibility services, student conduct guidance, and wellbeing programs, helping them thrive in a safe, inclusive, and respectful AIU community.
AIU provides confidential support to students experiencing mental health, emotional, personal, social, or academic concerns. Students can contact us directly to request support and arrange an appointment with a qualified counsellor.
Where appropriate, students may also be guided toward additional resources or external professional support.
Request a Counselling Appointment: Students who would like to speak with a counsellor are welcome to contact Student Wellbeing & Care to schedule a confidential appointment. You may visit us at Building A, Office A-W-137, or contact us by email to arrange a suitable time.

Academic Accommodations are coordinated with the relevant academic units.
AIU has physical accessibility features across campus, including ramps, elevators, accessible restrooms, and designated accessible parking spaces to support students and visitors with mobility needs.
Students who require academic accommodations can contact us to discuss their individual needs and the accommodation process. Depending on the student’s needs and supporting documentation, reasonable accommodations may include classroom accommodations, alternative testing arrangements, accessibility support, or other appropriate academic accommodations.
Parents may contact AIU if they have concerns or would like general information about the support available. Any discussion regarding an individual student will be handled with appropriate consideration for student privacy and confidentiality.
AIU promotes a safe and respectful university community through clear expectations for student conduct. This section outlines students’ rights and responsibilities and provides access to the Student Code of Conduct, reporting forms, conflict resolution support, and the appeals process.
Submissions are reviewed by Student Wellbeing & Care, which will follow up as appropriate. The forms should be completed and submitted online, with submissions going directly into Maxient for review by Student Wellbeing & Care. Once received, AIU will review the information and follow up with the student or reporting individual as appropriate.
The timing of the follow-up will depend on the nature and urgency of the matter.
AIU offers workshops, awareness campaigns, programs, and activities related to mental health, resilience, personal development, healthy lifestyles, accessibility awareness, and overall student wellbeing.
Information about upcoming programs and activities can be shared through the university’s existing student communication and event channels. Follow @aiu_kw or check your student email regularly to stay updated.
For urgent concerns, please contact Campus Security at security@aiu.edu.kw or the AIU Clinic at clinic@aiu.edu.kw.
