The Divine Creation Art Contest invites students to reflect on the awe-inspiring beauty of the world crafted by the Creator. Through painting, photography,
sculpture, and mixed media, participants showcase the intricate design, intentionality, and spiritual depth behind creation. This contest is more than art, it's an affirmation of faith, creativity, and purpose.
The Divine Creation Art Contest encourages students to explore the divine craftsmanship behind the natural world. It is a space to celebrate art as an act of reflection, one that stands firm in belief, honoring the Creator’s artistry amidst a culture that often elevates science over spirituality.
Open to university and high school students, the contest accepts a wide range of submissions, from traditional media to digital creations. Winning works receive awards, certificates, and permanent display across the AIU campus.
Over 150 students at AIU took part in this year’s Divine Creation Art Contest, a vibrant celebration of art, faith, and creativity. Students explored the theme of creation through painting, 2D design, photography, calligraphy, and mixed media, expressing how they see the Creator’s presence in the world around them. Winning entries were awarded cash prizes and celebrated in a special campus ceremony.
A special Arabic calligraphy workshop led by artist Jassim Miraj
added a hands-on experience to the event, blending tradition with personal expression. More than just a contest, Divine Creation gave students a chance to reflect, create, and connect with something deeper through their art.
