AIU Student Hawraa Mairza Wins Best Feasible Prototype Innovation Award at GCC Hackathon

American International University (AIU) proudly celebrates a landmark achievement by one of its outstanding students. Hawraa Mairza, a Foundation Biotechnology student, has been awarded the 2025 Best Feasible Prototype Innovation Award at the prestigious GCC Innovation and Technology Hackathon. 

Held at the regional level, the GCC Hackathon gathers the most promising student innovators from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to tackle real-world problems with creative, technology-driven solutions. Competing against top-tier teams, Ms. Mairza stood out with a groundbreaking prototype recognized for its innovative design, practical feasibility, and real-world impact.
