The countdown to graduation has begun! This November, American International University will celebrate the hard work, achievements, and new beginnings of its graduating students. With graduation celebrations taking place from November 2–5, it’s time to prepare for your walk across the stage.

From registering for the ceremony to collecting your regalia, here is your checklist to get ready for this special milestone.

Register and Arrange Your Guest Tickets

Make sure you have registered for graduation and purchased any additional tickets for the family and friends joining your celebration. This is a moment you have worked towards throughout your university journey—and a chance to share your achievement with the people who supported you along the way.

Collect Your Regalia and Take Your Graduate Headshot

Visit campus from October 20–22 to collect your graduation regalia and take your graduate headshot. Your cap and gown mark the occasion, while your portrait captures a milestone you will look back on for years to come.

Attend Graduation Rehearsals

Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 1, and attend the graduation rehearsals. Rehearsal will help you become familiar with the ceremony proceedings and feel prepared for your moment on stage. Keep an eye on official AIU communications for further instructions.

Arrive Ready to Celebrate

As your graduation day approaches, check your assigned ceremony details and arrival instructions, prepare your regalia, and make sure your guests have their tickets ready.
