Elementary Education in English

AIU's School of Education offers a Bachelor of Education in English in response to the current educational climate in the nation, which includes shortages in qualified teachers for public and private schools.

The elementary education curriculum at AIU leads to a bachelor’s degree of education in English. It aims to provide candidates with:

(i) an accredited professional qualification meeting the requirements of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education for initial teacher education; and

(ii) Graduate attributes, as detailed below.

  • A degree in education
  • Graduates will be qualified to apply for any elementary school teaching certification program within the English concentration.
