Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Program

Course Description

Total Duration: 150 hours

This comprehensive 150-hour Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to protect organizations from cyber threats. The program covers the key principles, tools, techniques, and technologies related to information systems security.

The certification received upon successful completion of this program is not directly provided by the program itself. Instead, the program is designed to prepare you to take the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam. The CISSP certification is a globally recognized credential in the field of information security and is granted by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, also known as (ISC)2.

After completing the program, students should have the knowledge and skills needed to pass the CISSP exam and become Certified Information Systems Security Professionals. Please note that to be certified by the (ISC)2, you not only need to pass the exam but also have a minimum of five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

For those who pass the exam but lack the necessary work experience, (ISC)2 offers an Associate of (ISC)2 status, which allows them to start earning the work experience required for full certification.

Please also note that obtaining the CISSP credential requires adherence to the (ISC)2 Code of Ethics and an endorsement from an (ISC)2 certified professional who can attest to your professional experience. In addition, maintaining the CISSP certification requires earning Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits on an annual basis.
