If you have been to AIU lately, you know there is an unmistakable sense of energy here. I certainly felt that when I first stepped on campus as Vice President for Academic Affairs, and now as President, I am committed to continuing that energy and sense of purpose.

AIU’s distinctive mission demands that we strive continually to offer a highly valuable and relevant American style education for Kuwait’s emerging citizen leaders. Through rigorous academics—including a strong commitment to global education and active learning, our students can take advantage of a wide array of strong programs in engineering, business, the sciences, education, arts, and design. AIU actively engages in work and service in the wider communities in which we study and live, both here in Kuwait and the United States. As you explore AIU for yourself, you will quickly learn that there is something very special about the AIU community.
