Master of Science in Computer Science

The Computer Science program at the American International University awards the degree of Master of Science with a major in Computer Science. The program offers a collection of courses in computer science to prepare graduates for managerial and analysis positions in a wide range of professional settings to fill a policy formulation and analysis within the computer science and technology domain.

The main goal of the M.Sc. program in computer science is intended for students who will examine, and address issues related to information technology and technologies through a multidisciplinary and strategic perspective, ensuring a thorough understanding and application of advanced principles in computer science.

Degree Requirements

 

Students in the Master of Science in Computer Science must complete a minimum of 27 credits. All coursework must be completed in accordance with the academic rules of AIU and those of the department.

 

Core Requirements: 21 credits

Major Requirements: 6 credits

Total Credits: 27
